Beyond the 14 mandatory missions required of all apprenticeship training centers (as stated in Article L6231-2 of the French Labor Code), which we are fully committed to fulfilling, ÉSTIAM upholds strong values of tolerance, inclusion, and solidarity.
Our primary mission is to support our learners as they transition—from students to apprentices or work-study participants (under apprenticeship or professionalization contracts)—into accomplished professionals.
ÉSTIAM is committed to promoting diversity in order to provide each student with the best possible conditions throughout their academic journey and as they begin their new life as employees in the workforce.
/ We Champion Diversity
Diversity is defined as “the variety of human profiles,” which can evolve within a single company. It encompasses differences in gender, age, beliefs, nationality, and more.
France, USA, Brazil, Morocco, China, Switzerland, Japan, India… Our teaching team reflects our strong commitment to promoting diversity, mobility, and inclusion among our students, apprentices, trainers, partner companies, mentors, and training supervisors who place their trust in us.
ÉSTIAM also actively supports gender diversity in the workforce and promotes professional equality between women and men. We challenge the gender-based division of professions. To us, IT is a field open to everyone—regardless of gender! And to demonstrate this, ÉSTIAM highlights women in tech, both students and professionals. Supporting Students with Disabilities
As part of our commitment to inclusion, ÉSTIAM offers a special scholarship for students with disabilities, fully covering tuition fees. This ensures a total cost of €0, allowing students to pursue their education under optimal conditions, free from financial barriers.
Our team is actively involved in various initiatives within ÉSTIAM, including:
Promoting equal opportunity in school admissions and ensuring transparency in decision-making regarding evaluations, interviews, applications, and placement tests.
Raising awareness about diversity, equality, and workplace inclusion through actions and training sessions.
Promoting equal opportunity and fighting against all forms of discrimination.
Providing information and preventive measures against discrimination and workplace harassment.
Studying workplace practices and policies related to these topics.
Encouraging apprentices to reflect critically on their training and analyze their profession in relation to stereotypes.
Hosting roundtables to foster dialogue and listening, with the participation of mentors and training supervisors.
Preventing social or material difficulties that could compromise an apprentice’s ability to complete their contract.
/ ÉSTIAM for Sustainable Development
ÉSTIAM is fully aware of the environmental challenges associated with its educational activities.
Sustainable actions have been implemented at the school, particularly through the digitalization of its training programs. We raise awareness among our instructors by encouraging the use of digital tools to reduce paper consumption. ÉSTIAM is a “Paperless” school: our training materials are 100% digital.
Within ÉSTIAM, we also educate our students about responsible behavior regarding waste management on campus.
